Austria, the Serapis Wahliss line was introduced in 1911 with white earthenware body decorated in rich enamels. This ovoid jar features geometrically stylized blossoms in cartouches above a vertical linear background, the black and white in stark contrast to the gilt and vibrant blooms, marked on the bottom.
