Circa 1900, silverplate and gilt face with painted moon dial with ship and cottage landscape vignettes, raised Arabic numerals, seconds dial, marked Elite Germany, with Whittington / Westminster chimes and Silent / Chime dial; carved mahogany case with arched hood featuring an armorial relief carved frieze, glazed tombstone door flanked by six fully-turned columns, pierced sides with red fabric lining; case with gadrooned molding, hinged Gothic arched beveled glass waist door flanked by fully carved reeded columns, base with relief carved flaming torches, leaf and ribbon motif raised on four winged carved paw feet, with three brass weights and pendulum.
