Benjamin Offei Nyarko, popularly referred to as "BON," earned his BA in Art from the College of Art, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology - KUMASI. He went on to earn his MFA in Painting at the Nikolai Pavlovich's Institute of Fine Art in Sofia, Bulgaria. He was awarded a Fulbright scholarship for study at North Carolina Central University from 1999-2000.

BON's work focus on women in rural communities and has been exhibited extensively throughout West Africa, Europe, and the United States.
