"Each morning I watch the sun emerge through a veil of trees, sometimes shrouded by fog or rain. The squares and circles represent the splitting atom releasing its energy and dissipating into focus not so readily seen as in this special time of day. The circles on the backdrop heighten the sense of energy and depending on the light source, shadows are cast from the foreground to the background, subtly demonstrating the presence of a power source." -Jacquelyn Nouveau
