Zainab Reddy was born in Pune in India and studied art at the University of Mumbai. She married and immigrated to South Africa in 1955 and was among the first Indian born woman recognized for her artistic talents in the country. She later moved to London with her family and has been the recipient of several awards for her volunteer endeavors.
