Early 19th century, mahogany, mahogany veneer, white pine and poplar secondary, yellow pine backboard, rectangular top with shaped and serpentine front edge, upper central drawer with cockbeaded edge, above a conforming skirt flanked by a deep drawer to the left and a cabinet door to the right, base edge of case with light and dark wood herringbone inlay, raised on six square tapered legs, the front four with inlaid ellipse over elongated diamond, all with lower inlaid cuff.

Restoration throughout; top reset and possibly later; both cabinet bottoms on left and right reinforced with new screws; deep drawer planed and re-built on secondary woods; missing locks; pulls later but in original holes.
