19th century, mahogany and figured mahogany veneers, the first lacks interior dividers but features a compass inly on the lid (veneer loss and separation to the lid; large crack to left rear (4 5/8 x 8 x 4.5 in.); the second has two interior divisions both with covers, papered sides ( no key to lock; screws to lid replaced with two missing; veneer cracks to lid and rt. side.)
