Circa 1800, oak and pine secondary, two-part form, upper case with well-developed cove molded broken arch pediment, square plinth supporting gilt turned urn with acorn, open frieze features egrets, above black lacquered case with pagoda, figural, avian, and floral scenes, upper cabinet with two hinged doors, red lacquered interior with three louvered shelves, the desk with hinged slant lid opening to reveal interior with pigeon holes, four small drawers, and well, the case with two side-by-side above two long drawers, shaped bracket foot base.

Repairs and restoration throughout, including break and repair to both pediment sides with later rear braces; hairline cracking and gilt chipping to urn; replaced hinges to cabinet doors; slant lid with cut and repair at hinge joint; four small drawers secondary rebuilt; expected wear, shrinkage cracks, and minor lacquer losses throughout; replaced pulls; some touch-ups and enhancements.
