Originally from Atlantic City, New Jersey, Horace Washington is a ceramic artist now living and working in Oakland, California. He began his art studies at the Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio before moving to California to study sculpture at the San Francisco Art Institute and Cal State University, Sacramento.
