Late 19th - early 20th century, time and strike brass movement numbered 2357 and marked JM within a triangle; the dial with Roman numerals and pierced Gothic hands over a painted 18th century-style courtship scene; additional paint decorated porcelain panels to sides and base; heavy gilt throughout contrasts tastefully with rose accents.
