The first a figure leaning on a wheel and holding a blacksmith hammer, signed "G. Hölzel" and with "N" foundry mark to base verso, inscription to wheel in German: "Fifty Year Anniversary / From Staff," and inscribed date to base recto "1872-1922," mounted to granite base (9.25 in.); the second an athletic figure holding a magnifying glass frame (without glass), unmarked, mounted to a light green onyx plinth with bronze clad base (11.5 in.).

first piece with later adhesive to top and bottom of wheel, minor pin point scattered white spots to figure, missing mounting screw to base, light scratches and wear to base; the second piece with spot of corrosion to raised shoulder, wear to base corners.
