An award winning realist painter, Jack Saylor and his wife live in the restored house of whaler and sea captain Josephus Willis in Morehead City, NC. In 2007, Saylor worked with the NC Department of Cultural Resources to create Queen Anne's Revenge, a still life depicting artifacts recovered from the shipwreck of Blackbeard's flagship. Saylor's paintings are in numerous private collections, including the collection of Bob Timberlake.
