To include: two CDVs, 1860s-1870s, one with Young's Gallery, Lexington, KY backmark, both showing adolescents with the same chair and wearing the same uniform. It is likely they are cadets from the Kentucky Military Institute (both prints slightly lifting from their mounts); a cabinet card, 1880s, showing two boys in uniform and two civilian siblings identified as members of the Carson family, this image presented in a deep period shadowbox oval frame (10.5 in.); a CDV inscribed "Uncle Hans Huslum as a Cadet in Army, no backmark; a 9th plate tintype of an extremely woeful boy in a paramilitary suit.
