Acrylic, polyurethane, lacquer and oil glaze on Masonite, signed "Scheck" and dated 1981 to cradling on verso, retains Weatherspoon Art Gallery label to verso, framed with a thin acrylic frame sheath on all sides.

Gifted to Weatherspoon Art Museum in 1985 by Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Dorsky

Gerald is known for his extensive work in printmaking, and as a painter and sculptor. Scheck was chosen by Bill Moyers for a feature interview on PBS as part of the series "Creativity with Bill Moyers," which further led to his inclusion in articles in Smithsonian magazine, among others.
His works are in numerous corporate and private collections and have been shown in many exhibits, including the Dorsky Gallery, NYC; the Mahler Gallery, Washington, D.C.; Frank W. Cyr Center Gallery, Stamford, NY; UCCCA, Oneonta, NY; Grosvenor Gallery, Cobleskill, and SUNY Delhi; others are the Annual Regional Art Show, Cooperstown Art Assn, Ulster County Art Center, the Museum at Hartwick College, the Blue Nun Gallery, Oneonta.

One scratch to surface near right edge at middle; cradling needs to be glued again to panel; some wear to acrylic frame sheath.
