Acrylic, polyurethane, lacquer and oil glaze on Masonite, signed "Scheck" and dated 1981 to cradling on verso, retains Weatherspoon Art Gallery label to verso, framed with a thin acrylic frame sheath on all sides.

Gerald is known for his extensive work in printmaking, and as a painter and sculptor. Scheck was chosen by Bill Moyers for a feature interview on PBS as part of the series "Creativity with Bill Moyers," which further led to his inclusion in articles in Smithsonian magazine, among others.


Some minor scattered surface accretions at perimeter, a few small shallow circular dents in the top quarter of image, wear to acrylic frame sheath.
