19th century, watercolor on ivory, illegible signature to lower right recto of Napoleon, inscribed "Napoleon" and "Empress Josephine" to verso, each with matching Neoclassical style oval brass frames with appropriate laurel leaf design (3 in.); the incense burner in brass, also 19th century, mounted on an ochre marble plinth, shares a similar laurel leaf pattering to frieze, beaded borders with gadroon foot (4 in.).
