A Finely Decorated Paris Porcelain Vase
Lot Details & Additional Photographs
19th century, having a downward flange rim above a light plum body, decorated below the shoulder with a band of white enamel dots over a hand-painted reserve of two tropical birds both obverse and reverse, the tapered base and pedestal are gilt painted with delicate outlines of acanthus leaves, the whole raised on a conforming socle, unmarked.

15.5 in.

Likely originally with a cover; gilt losses especially at the rim and shoulder band and socle; damage where the vase meets the band joining the pedestal.
