19th century, both of rectangular form; one with brass bale handle to hinged and molded lid, bat form brass escutcheon (lacking locking mechanism, later paper lining to lid) (5.5 x 9 x 5 in.); the second with triple divided interior with removable covers, raised on bun feet (some loss to inlaid corners, broken and repaired hinges, does not close tightly, possibly later feet) (5.25 x 9 x 4.5 in.).
