Artist Gustavo Ramos Rivera was born in Mexico and immigrated to the United States in 1969. He currently lives and practices in San Francisco. His abstract compositions that he completes in painted, drawn, or printed form are reminiscent of Pre-Columbian Mesoamerican Art.
