NC Pottery, Canning Jar, Himer Fox (1826-1909 Randolph County)

Quart size salt glazed stoneware with large areas of salt runs and spotting, high rounded lip with inner rim, straight sides, stamped below the shoulder "H. FOX / 2 " (2 pints). With a lid which is not original.

Jar only 8.5 in.

Small scrapes and flea bites to inner collar otherwise good condition. Later lid.
