David studied at Massachusetts College of Art, graduating with a B.S.E. and a B.F.A. in 1967. His work focuses largely on the female form, and exhibits his work with The Pearson Legacy Gallery, the Deer Isle Artists' Association gallery and from his home studio and gallery in Deer Isle. His artworks are included the private collections of the Fuller Art Museum in Brockton, MA; Museum de la Erotica in Barcalona, Spain; E.S. Museum in Miami, FL; and the Kinsey Institute in Indiana.
