Attributed to Virginia, early 19th century, poplar and yellow pine secondary, rectangular top on conforming base, central protect door flanked by two deep drawers, all with lightwood line inlay to edge, inlaid escutcheons, flush sides, tall square tapered legs with beaded edge to front legs.

Restoration; refinished; top with areas of scratching; top reset and cut; drawers rebuilt; back with three later horizontal brace boards; prospect compartment with later false back for hidden compartment; replaced brasses.
