Herb Mignery was raised on the Mignery ranch near Bartlett, Nebraska. 1973, he cast his first bronze and from that time devoted himself to sculpture. In addition to his smaller scale bronze figural works of the American West, Herb has completed many public commissioned large scale monuments in the US, and is the recipient of numerous sculpting awards including several Gold Sculpture Awards from the Cowboy Artists of America, the Kieckhefer Award for Best of Show, and the Ray Swanson Memorial Award.
