Early 19th century, two-part form, mahogany veneers, pine and deal secondary, molded cornice with an arched detail and applied drops, open louvered shelved interior, the base with a hinged lipped lid with loper supports, divided interior, with four pigeon holes and valances, four drawers, case with three long graduated cockbeaded drawers, shaped skirt, on French bracket feet.

83 x 40 x 20 in.

The lot is accompanied by the two hinged upper doors; however, they are badly broken with veneer loss, trim loss, glass loss, one broken hinge; some applied drops at cornice frieze missing; later green felt writing surface; tight shrinkage crack at lid; later lopers and loper supports; drawer runners rebuilt; back left rear foot cut and replaced.
