All four pages, small folio (15.5 in.), to include: The New York Gazette; or, The Weekly Post-Boy, New York, March 13, 1769, the lead stories on church news contrast with theater display inside; plus, The Essex Gazette, Salem, Massachusetts, October 29, 1771, the lead being a Proclamation by the Governor ordering "a Publick Thanksgiving" on November 21st, this preceding George Washington's proclamation by some 18 years; plus, The Connecticut Gazette, New London, Connecticut, October 9, 1778, a war-date American paper with the expected political and military news spiced up by the unexpected announcement noting the Boston birth of healthy triplets.
