The first worked in multi color silk threads on linen ground, top register with name and date of maker "Elizabeth Richardson / Born 1842 Aged 12" above verse, field with various motifs to include crosses, ewers, a wine glass, and more, housed in a mahogany veneer frame with gilt filet (Sight size 16.5 x 17.5 in.; Frame dimensions 23.25 x 24.25 in.) the second worked in multi color silk threads on linen ground by Elizabeth Stubs, with alphanumeric rows above Greek key border above various floral and figural motifs, bottom register with maker's name and "Aged 10 184 ?", housed in a walnut frame with gilt filet (Sight size12.5 x 11 in.; Frame dimensions 16.5 x 15 in.)

The first with some staining; some stitch loss; tacked to board). The second with staining; some stitch loss; with staining and holes to sides from tacked border; some gesso loss to filet. Neither examined out of frame.
