Circa 1840, poplar secondary, hinged mirrored lid with applied ribboning, interior with velvet writing surface which opens to a storage compartments flanked by divided compartments, lower flush drawer, applied ribbon band, lower edge and folky escutcheons, spool turned legs and stretcher on scrolled feet.
