Circa 1855, Famous Sights of the Fifty-three Stations (Gojûsan tsugi meisho zue) also referred to as the "Upright Tokaido" series, publisher Tsutaya Kichizo, woodblock prints, ink and colors on paper, includes Shono (good color; light toning; stain to lower left corner; water stain to lower right corner; small loss in margin), Kameyama (fading to color; toning; upper two corners secured to a backing), Kuwana (fading to color; toning; top corners and lower left corner all with loss; small holes to right margin), Yoshiwara (significant fading to color; toning; loss to upper right area of print; rough margin on top and right edges), Hiratsuka (significant fading to color; toning; loss to upper right corner and mid right side; rough margin on edges especially on right side), and a later print of Sudden Shower over Shin Ohashi Bridge and Atake from the series "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo" (brittle paper; loss to upper right corner; margins trimmed at top and bottom; toning to paper), all prints presented loose.
