Mid to late 19th century, rosewood veneers, inlaid shield escutcheon, side drawer to lower right side, lid with pull down paper storage, opens to a compartmented green velvet interior, glass pen/brush holder with reticulated silverplate lid with etched cloud design, other various glass ink containers, one cut glass container with sterling silver lid and 1853 Birmingham mark, no monogram.

Shrinkage crack to interior lid; some loss and bubbling to veneer surfaces; scratches and denting to silver surfaces, wear to velvet interior; unable to open side drawer at time of evaluation.
