Two Antique Iznik Pottery Dishes

The first early 17th century, Ottoman Turkey, painted saz leaf and floral decoration to center in cobalt blue, green and umber, with black outlines on a white ground, all within a monochrome swirl patterned border to rim, decorated to verso with alternating green and blue leaves, unglazed foot (2 1/4 x 10 1/4 in.) (a few glaze flakes to rim; some chips to underside foot; age staining to underside white glaze); the second of a later date, Turkey, floral and phoenix decoration on a cobalt ground, with green, manganese purple, and yellow hue glazes, unglazed foot (1 7/8 x 10 1/2 in.) (chip to rim; crack and glued repair to rim; all over crackle to glaze and scattered firing hairlines).

Both with scattered firing hairlines, glaze bubbles.
