The first depicts an elder seated with books at hand and feet, possibly Socrates (9 1/4 x 6 1/2 x 3 in.) (paint flakes); the second is titled "The Sultan" representing Abdul Medjid, Sultan of Turkey 1823-1861 (7 3/4 in.) (head re-glued); the third shows a drummer girl with cannon (11.25 in.) (break and repair to flag tip; several small chips/scrapes).
