Bristol, Connecticut, circa 1840s, time and strike movement with brass medallion pendulum, the embossed paper dial with applied gilt and paint decoration; pierced brass hands; the case with mahogany veneers, two full columns, the scrolled pediment with three brass urn finials; the door with reverse painted tablet having a pendulum aperture. Retains weights and key.
