Bristol, Connecticut, second quarter 19th century, time and strike brass movement visible through open escapement, painted wooden dial with Roman numerals, the case of mahogany and mixed wood veneers, large manufacturer's printed label inside; reverse painted tablet showing a landed estate below the dial; brass pendulum and key are present.
