Warren Dennis received his MFA from the University of Mississippi before teaching in Alabama and later at Appalachian State in Boone, North Carolina, where he became the Chair of the Art Department. Dennis' paintings and drawings often depict graceful, elongated figures, and he aims to evoke an unspoken and subtle emotion in his works. He currently lives and practices in Boone, North Carolina, and his artwork is present in many public and private collections throughout the Southeast.
