Early 19th century, South Shields, painted metal face with moon dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary dials for minute and date, the hood with a broken arched pediment with brass finials, pinwheel and barber pole inlays, paneled tapered ebony and rosewood veneered columns, the waist door with flame mahogany veneer banded in Rosewood with barber pole line inlay, with repeating inlaid frieze, bottom panel with repeating mahogany and rosewood veneers with line and barber pole inlays on shaped bracket feet, with two weights, pendulum, crank and case key.

87 x 20 x 10 in.
