Attributed to Carter County, circa 1820-1840, cherry veneers, poplar secondary, rectangular top with applied vertical veneer banding to edge, upper projecting deep drawer with banded flame veneer, above three graduated recessed drawers all with applied cock beading and featuring bold flame veneers, upper stiles with diagonal veneer panels above spiral reeded applied three-quarter columns, paneled sides, raised on distinctive turned and reeded feet.
