Late 18th century, blue and white with the source of the tobacco "MARTINIEK" denoted within a cartouche surrounded by scrolls and capped by a vase of flowers, set within a circular wooden base, electrified with shade.

Tobacco became very popular in the 1700s and arrived, cured and dried, in large rolls. It was then cut and stored in Delft jars labeled for the place of origin or for the port.
