17th-18th century, first a framed set of two tiles in cobalt on tin-glazed ground, circa 1630, each depicting a nautical scene with fisherman (6 x 11 1/8 in. framed); second a framed set of two tiles in manganese on tin-glazed ground, also with nautical scenes (7 x 12 in. framed); third a group of four unframed tiles, also in manganese, to include a biblical tile of Samson carrying the gate, a still life, a maritime scene, and resting cows in landscape (largest 5 3/8 in.).
