Michael studied at St. Pauls College and Regent Street Polytechnicl School of Art. He was chairman of the Young Contemporaries in 1953, an a member of both the Royal Society of British Aritsts and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters. He has exhibited at the Royal Academy and other provincial and London based Galleries. Official purchasers include Hereford and Scunthorpe Art Galleries.
