Rene studied at the School of Fine Arts, Paris in 1940 and a member of the avant garde COBRA art movement. Represented by Galerie Claude Bernard, and exhibited widely in France. His work is in the collections at the Museum of Nantes; Museum of Modern Art, Paris; and the "Cabinets des Estampes," Paris.

Good estate condition, not examined out of the frame.
