Late Regency Era, 19th century, second mark, Rococo style painted with bouquets of flowers in natural colors within a border of elaborate gilt scrolls and shells, the set consists of (17) plates (8 5/8 in.); (3) round comports (5 x 9 11/4 in.); a pair of fruit stands (6 x 12 in.); a pair of three tiered cake stands ( 20 1/2 in.)

Coalport was awarded the Isis Gold Medal of The Society of Arts in 1820 for their introduction of the new lead-free feldspar glaze.

One plate with rim chip; one plate with dark spot to gilt; all plates with wear to gilt; a few pieces with minor fritting; the three tiered cake stand with edge chips to pedestal support; one oval compote with chips to pedestal base; one oval compote with chip/hairline to shaped rim edge; the tiers of the stands slightly loose from the columns, with some staining to from cork cushioning.
