Mid 19th century, the larger in rosewood veneer with mother of pearl escutcheon, divided and lidded interior with fabric lining on suppressed ball feet 7 x 9.5 x 5.5 in.); the second in mahogany with a raised panel hinged lid, tin lined interior, the case with wood ring handles on turned ball feet (8 x 7 x 6 in.).
