Attributed to Edenton, North Carolina, circa 1770, circular tilt top with underside battens, dovetailed box, bulbous ring turned standard, tripod base with cabriole legs having snake raised pad feet, underside of knee with small projection surmounted by a boss.

Sun fading to top with center darkened area; one inch slip to edge of dovetailed box at doweled area replaced; missing donut and key; some foot chipping to pads; bosses are appropriate but possibly later.
