Virginia or North Carolina, circa 1800, yellow pine and white pine secondary, shaped hinged top with gate-leg support, serpentine stepped front, veneered skirt with light wood line inlay featuring intwined pattern with four part tri-leaf design and an alternating light and dark wood inlay to the bottom edge, upper stiles with light wood rectangular panel raised on tall square tapered legs with line inlay.

The first: top reset, refinished, the veneer to the front skirt corners buckled, cut and reset, scuffs to the legs; the second table: top reset, old alligatored surface, scratches and marring to top surface, crack to the lower rear lid by hinge joint, left and right corner with veneer buckle, cut and reset, leg edges with wear especially towards the bottom.
