Richard has traveled around the world in search of his sculpted animal subjects: Africa, Madagascar, Brazil and Mexico. From 1996 to 2005, Klyver was the Artist in Residence at the University of Pennsylvania. His bronzes are on display at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, the Yale Peabody Museum and in many private collections. in 2009 he opened his own foundry in Eastport, Maine where he uses the lost wax method to create these pieces.
