Circa 1800, mahogany and pine secondary, upper panel hinged lid with reeded edge, lead lined interior with drain spout (originally would run into the lower cabinet allowing the user to fill his wash basin), hinged slant lid with book stop and reeded edge, the interior with adjustable shaving mirror and later mahogany surface, the case with a faux drawer over a hinged cabinet door, flanked by two bottle drawers with dividers, over one long drawer with dividers, over a central hinged cabinet door flanked by beaded panels on turned legs.

40.5 x 25.25 x 21.25 in.

Old surface stains and scratches; later mahogany surface to interior of desk with shrinkage crack; lead spout has now been filled and lacking nozzle; no key; adhesive tape to back of mirror; shrinkage cracks to sides of case.
