Depicting an assembly of well-dressed nobles in an outdoor setting, being led by two gentleman conversing with sword leisurely in hand, the dog proudly leads the outfit with equestrian onlookers in the background. The perspective of the front architecture and the emerging sense of one point perspective on the ground plane, points to Florentine influences around the time Filippo Brunelleschi, circa 1400.

Scattered abrasions, retouch and some voids to surface; likely deliberately aged appearance; some rubbing and chipping to frame.
