Claude Cardon was the pseudonym for Claude Lorraine Clark. He debuted the Cardon surname in 1892 when he was first selected to exhibit at the Royal Academy. Best known for his idyllic scenes of rural life, Cardon exhibited extensively throughout his life at the Royal Academy, Liverpool's Walker Art Gallery, the Manchester City Art Gallery, and with the Royal Society of British Artists at Suffolk Street in London.
