The button being a lined "C" with blank back, 23mm, stand-up shank intact (some roughness, but well-defined); the cast spur of brass and likely made by the Richmond Armory, 5 in. long, (olive patina; bends, and a break behind the heel).

Recovered in Petersburg, Virginia area, late 1960s-early 1980s
