Attributed eastern Pennsylvania, circa 1840, high grade book-matched mahogany veneers, oak and white pine secondary, multi-part form, four hinged mullioned doors with upper foliate carving, louvered shelf interior, surmounted by ogee crest and arched pediment with central fleur de lis, the dovetailed waist with four small side-by-side drawers flanked by one long drawer to each side, all with applied ribbon molding, the drawers divided by applied pierced and carved spandrel, the lower case with four double paneled hinged cabinet doors, each paneled with ribbon molding to edge, shelved interior, the whole raised on a conforming rectangular base with scalloped skirt.
